The Appraisers

Randy Gold is the president and sole owner of the Aspen Appraisal Group, Ltd.
He received his BA degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1973 where he graduated with honors. He joined Mollica and Associates, Inc. in 1978 (renamed the Aspen Appraisal Group, Ltd in 1989) and was designated RM (Residential Member) by the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers in 1982.
In 1992 the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers merged with the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and was renamed the Appraisal Institute. At that time his RM designation was reclassified SRA. Randy received his MAI designation in 1984. He is a Certified General Appraiser with the State of Colorado and is also a licensed real estate broker.
Randy’s appraisal concentration is in very high-end luxury single family homes and building sites, hotels, lodges, commercial real estate including retail, office and mixed use projects, subdivision of raw land, proposed residential developments including single family and multi-family, easements, condemnation or “takings,” and ski area base development.

Scott Bowie received his BA from Harvard University in 1971 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He received his RM designation in 1978, reclassified SRA in 1992, and was designated MAI in 1984. He is a Certified General Appraiser in Colorado and is also a licensed real estate broker.
Scott began his appraisal career with the firm in 1976. He retired in 2006, but remains “of counsel” to the company, acts as its vice president, and assists with occasional, large or unusual appraisal assignments.
Scott’s areas of expertise mirror those of Randy. |

Elizabeth “Betsy” Krizmanich joined the firm in 1985 and was designated RM (now SRA) in 1990. She received her BA degree from Duke University in 1978 and her Masters in Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina in 1983. She is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Colorado and is also a licensed real estate broker. Betsy concentrates on mid- and high-range single family homes throughout the valley, light industrial, retail and office buildings in Carbondale, Basalt and Aspen, new luxury condominium and townhouse units and developments, proposed residential developments, easements, condemnation, and mining claims. |

Kim Tarver began her career with the Aspen Appraisal Group in 2007. Her appraisal background comes from 3+ years with the Pitkin County Assessor’s office. She is a Certified Residential Appraiser in Colorado.
Kim is a native of Aspen. She received BA’s in mathematics and philosophy from Mount Holyoke College in 1979.
Kim’s focus is appraising Aspen and Snowmass property, including condominiums, townhouses, vacant land, and lower to mid-price range single family houses. |
